It is surrounded by tall grasses and woods, and it appears eerie at night. There is a rusted gate at the entrance that is always open. You’ll come across the skeletons of an old bus and car, which are now covered in graffiti.

2, Abundant Life Building
It was built in the 1950s and has sat vacant since the 1980s. This building’s ownership has changed several times. In Tulsa, there is a large strange building with no windows.
The exterior of this building is covered in diamond-shaped marble. It is also referred to as a diamond building tower. On the outside, it appears to be in good condition, but on the inside, the situation is quite different.
It has a leaking roof, which is destroying the entire interior of the building. It has a creepy appearance, and inside is an old-style office with rusted and broken furniture.

3, Hopewell Baptist Church
This is a one-of-a-kind church with a triangle structure, also known as the TP church. It was once listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States in 2002.
However, the building had serious damage to the interior and exterior, and 1.25 million dollars was raised in 2005 to restore this beautiful place, with hopes that it will be restored to its former glory.
As of 2015, the roof, windows, and doors had been repaired, but there were still issues on the inside, such as broken furniture and rusted items.

4, Kingfisher Hospital
This hospital was built in 1940 and was decommissioned in 2009. This hospital requires urgent repairs, which were not provided to it, and a new hospital was built in the town in 2007, so it was not properly managed.
People used to visit the new hospital because it was in town, and this hospital gradually became vacant. There is no longer any hope that it will be restored. This hospital is not haunted, contrary to popular belief.
All of the glasses, doors, and furniture have been dismantled from the inside. You’ll notice that some of the old stuff is still around, which is fascinating to see. And some areas are not so badly damaged that you can easily visit.

5, Pitcher
It is one of the strangest places in the United States; it is a ghost town with only a handful of residents. However, staying here for an extended period is not advised.
It was once the leading location for zinc and lead mining, which impacted the entire town, and this town had more than 20,000 residents in the 1920s. Driving down this town’s road feels good, and you can see the old-style houses.
In 1996, 34% of the residents were poisoned by lead, and the town is severely weakened, with 100/86 percent of the buildings threatening to collapse at any time. These are the primary reasons why people left town.

It’s another ghost town on the list with nothing special to offer except the ‘Bond of Friendship’ monument, which was built in 1926. This town has only 50 residents, which is why it is referred to as a ghost town.

Because of the drop in oil prices in 1935, this town has seen a large influx of income. The old houses still have a variety of things that will pique your interest.

7, Sleepy Hollow
This restaurant was once the best in town, and it received a lot of positive feedback. Almost all of the reviews on the online listing were positive. Tourists flock to this restaurant because it serves the best food in town with a traditional flavour.
The owner became well-known, and they opened a new restaurant. However, after a few years, the ex-owners declared bankruptcy, and a bar was established here, but an incident occurred here with the bartender during a robbery. He was shot until he died.
It was built in 1948 and abandoned in 2008. An ex-owner returned here to restore it but discovered that the buildings were in poor condition. On June 11, 2012, the property was auctioned off.

8, Ron School
The construction of this school began in 1939, and there are 14 rooms with offices in total in this abandoned school. This school had only 461 students in its first year, and the building is now used for parties, dinners, and movie nights to keep it running.
After 5 years of struggling with declining student attendance and fewer new admissions each year. This school’s final graduating class was in 1964.
Jimmy Jones accepted the harsh reality and joined Hollis Public School. And this building has been abandoned since that day; it has never been restored, and people come here to see the empty structure.

I was a member of the ladies group called “The Barber Shop”. We sang their for the National Guard Christmas Party. Then another time the owner asked us to sing at the restaurant at another Christmas gathering. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Sorry to see it closed.
I used to live in Pitcher, Oklahoma. The main reason the ole timers left is a tornado went thru and wiped out their homes. It was a ghost town when I lived there, all there was left was a bank, a restaurant, post office, and a drug rehab lol. And that was in 2007.
